I've set up the blog.
Recently, I also started hosting some services on my mini PC.
- Outline
- A document tool
- A Notion alternative
- It works pretty well
- Connected to Hermes Agent, so it can now read and write pages on Outline (though I don't use it much)
- OxiCloud
- A file storage service
- A NextCloud alternative
- Written in Rust — fast and low-memory
- Supports WebDAV
- Papra
- A document management tool
- I store papers and books on it
- I'll use it as a reader too
I used to use Tailscale to access these tools, but I've switched to Cloudflare Tunnel, which lets me publish services running on localhost to the internet (kind of like a proxy).
Exposing services this way might sound dangerous or vulnerable, but Cloudflare Zero Trust provides a solid authenticator that only allows me in and blocks everyone else.
So now I can access Outline and OxiCloud from anywhere in the world (well, only from Singapore and Japan, since I've blocked every other country).
Papra has some issues with Cloudflare Tunnel, so I'll look into fixing that later.
My ToDo
- Host a todo app (Super Productivity)
- Host a password manager
